WHAT IS EYELASH PERM?

It’s a technique to curl natural lashes from the root, enhancing the eyelash curve to get a more expressive look.

WHEN IS EYELASH PERM RECOMMENDED?

It’s ideal to correct straight, downward-growing or swirled eyelashes. You can also choose hair by hair eyelash extensions to get a more expressive look and a “24 hour made-up eyes” effect.

HOW IS EYELASH PERMANENT DONE?

The eye area is very sensitive and requires quality products specific for the eyes. A mini curler is used similar to the one used with hair perm, but adapted to the proportion of the lashes. Next, the curler is attached to the lashes with special glue and a specific perm gel is applied to curl them for 15 minutes. It’s important not to leave it on as the lashes could result too curly or even burnt. Afterwards a neutralizing gel is applied for 10 minutes. Finally the neutralizing gel and the mini curler are removed and your eyelash perm is ready.

WHAT IS EYELASH TINT?

After the lash perm, the lash tint is the ideal complement as it gives a darker colouring to the lashes, enhancing the look. The colours available to eyelash tint are: black, bluish black, brow, and blue. Eyelash tint also protects lashes from colour discoloration from sun exposure, especially with people who have light or blonde lashes. The results of the lash tint lasts up to a month and a half. Even though it’s a complement to eyelash perm, you can tint your lashes independently to eyelash perm.

HOW LONGS DOES THE PROCEDURE LAST?

Applying eyelash perm lasts approximately 45 minutes. Subsequently the eyelash tint procedure lasts 15 minutes more, so the total time required for the treatment is 1 hour.

HOW MUCH IS THE PROCEDURE?

The perm, together with the tint has a cost of 49€. The perm has a cost of 35€ and the tint 20€.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EYELASH PERM AND HAIR BY HAIR EYELASH EXTENSION?

They are two totally different techniques. The eyelash perm gives a natural curl to your lashes. The longer the natural lashes, the more you will notice the curl. The eyelash perm and tint enhances the look but does not give a “24 hour made-up eyes” effect, if you wish to get that effect, you should continue to use mascara.

On the other side, the hair by hair eyelash extensions treatment is a technique where an eyelash extension is applied one by one over your natural lashes. With eyelash extensions you will get a curly and made-up lash effect. You can combine different lash sizes to get a more expressive look. Shorter lashes are commonly used near the lacrimal duct and longer ones as they approach the side of the eye.
